I need people to make a small donation so I can get the help I so desperately need now.  My name is Sylvia Carlisle.  I have had a hard year this past 12 months.  My husband passed away, lost my home, and now have been going through treatment for cancer with surgery, chemo and radiation.  My cancer is a head and neck cancer so they had to pull half of my teeth for the radiation to the head.  Now I have to have surgery due to the bone overgrowth growth on my top gum area.  I drink a lot of Ensure, unable to eat most foods.  Medicare does not cover those types of things and a lot of my medicines are not covered or denistry and my bills are over due.  This week I am going to have to pawn my computer just to get a couple of my medicines.  If anyone out there has it in their heart to help me by sending me any amount of money you can afford, even if people could just send $5 or $10 each it would mount up and you have no idea how much it would mean to me right now during this hard time in my life.  Please respond by sending your donation ASAP to: Sylvia Carlisle  221 Hennon Drive Rome, Ga. 30165  Thank you, I really need your help.   Sylvia

Hello Everyone!

     I am sitting here doing homework. I thought I would drop in and let everyone who is expecting packages from me know that I do have things for your children, and I have them boxed and ready to go. I am working on finding funding for the postage as I have not the money to send the packages. I will keep you updated and I will get them off in time for Christmas. I want to Thank You all for allowing me to give, It gives me a good feeling to do so. I wish I could offer more to you. 

     I hope that all of you here will be blessed for Christmas in some way. I have my husband, kids, and grand-daughters so I feel pretty blessed. I know what it is to need, and I know what it is to want to give to your children when you have nothing to give. So please know that I feel your pain. I wish I could help everyone who needed it.

     If we all stick together on this page and exchange information, such as helpful links, and pass on things that we no longer need or use to each other we can really build the community up. I have noticed that there are many more people in need than there are people to help. I wish I knew a way to change that. I have spread the word about Aid Page, and we all should do the same, not just to those in need, but also to those who can help.

     That is my wish for this website in the coming new year. I also believe that giving should be done all year round. That is what I intend to do. This website has shown me and taught me to see things in a different light. I have so many ideas that we might use to get people of means to help here, but I cannot do it alone. 

     I also know that many of the Christmas organizations that help families are often full and can take no more families. I know what it is to be waiting til the last minute wondering if help will come. It is hard as a parent to go through that.

     Never give up hope! It gets hard I know, but hope and faith is what keeps me going. I also believe in people, and the spirit of giving. We all have that spirit, and at times we cannot act on it, sometimes we can. 

     Please everyone give of yourself to another if you can. Please know that you are not alone. Look at all of the people on these pages of this website. Maybe you will get inspired to do something as I have. Never give up on your hopes and your dreams.

Help with bills....I am unemployed... having very hard times making ends meet.  need assistance in paying mortgage and utilities...... hard to even have gas money to look for job any ideas suggestions or advice on how to get money or help with bills in a hurry.

I want to thank you for you taking time to read my story.  I will try to keep it short.  My downward spiral begin about two years ago, up until the summer of 2006 I cared for my sick and elderly mother who expired a painful death.  It was heart-wrenching to watch it happen.  I had been physically lifting her up and down for almost a year and a half and I also had job as a health care provider taking care of a bed-ridden client who I also had to physically pick up and down.  Needless to say that I have blown my back and I suffer daily now and had to stop that type of work because I myself was having to be cared for, for about four months I was unable to do any standing or sitting, just doing my daily hygiene became a chore and was exteremly depressing.  So for the last seven months I had to rely on the kindess of my nephew, who resently lost his job due to being down sized.  I've applied for disability and been told that I can't receive help until a year has passed---what's up with that??  As of today March 03,2008  I am on the verge of losing everthing that I have worked for over the past 20 years.  I have always been there to help others and it now its my turn to be help and it seems that no-one cares.  I have over the years made personel contributions to many different causes and to family and friends.  So I am pleading with the dear readers for some assistance.  Money to be exact, around $5000. would help a great deal and I vow that I will continue to pay it forward.  Thank you for your hearing ear.  May God bless you and your family for your kindness.
